this is a picture of jin from samurai champloo. I look up to him because he’s always calm. I like the fact that he’s quiet and well reserved. I want to be all of those things. Plus he’s a dope swordsman and doesn’t just murder cats like mugen. I think the anime and hip hop have a lot in common. That’s why I think people should check it out. I like cartoons. That’s animation for you.
KRUX is non commerical radio station located out of Las Cruces NM, at the NMSU Campus it’s been around since I was little, it plays all underground music. It used to just play rock then Lee came along and brought real hip hop funk and the the station. I grew up listening to his Hip hop show and he’s no the head of that dept he has the Soul Session, and other good stuff to check out. I learn alot about hip hop from listening for his show. Krux was something I wanted to do. So at 17 I interned for the station and the rest is history.

The way things go is that I love pictures of myself so people know who the fuck they are listening to, also it shows you that no matter who you are you can do music.
These are pictures of M1yola and me. We grew up off of the same street. As kids we used to walk to school together and had the same friends. Years later we were reintroduced and we started by making a track called Live 2 smoke. That’s when I knew that we were meant to make shit happen. M1 and I have been good homies because we can read each others minds. I’ve read his plenty of times. That’s what makes our music great.He has a voice that sounds like a hardcore rapper, he even looks like one. These were shot at m1’s lair.
I can’t stress enough that you guys gotta listen to the Dugout radio show. We have some of the best DJ’s in the southwest. Listen for yourself, if you don’t believe it. Go to krux.fm and click listen now from 6-8pm on fridays. Holding it down, setting shit on fire, making our fathers proud. I can’t forget DJ Hoss Hill and DJ Bent, who cut as guests on the show.
This is me at my old job as a yard guy. It’s cold as fuck and the pay is shitty. Plus to top it all off my boss is a dick! That’s one of the reasons I like music because it doesn’t boss you around or treat you like shit. You can do everything yourself. Don’t ever think that you can’t. There is so much bullshit out in the world, it’s hard to know what’s good and what’s not. Things never work out, so live life for each day. I know it sound like a cliche but that’s how it really goes when it comes to life with music. Friends will fuck you over, lie to you and leave you in times of need. So just keep your head up and do what you feel.
this is me on halloween 06. I had fun djing with the dugout radioshow and a couple of other good heads who played some electro. I always jump at the chance to make music. I won’t ever give it up, not even for some girl. I am music and music is me.
