DJ DISLEXICAN

Just got out of the  school of hard knocks. I’m making powerful moves with music. I’ve made some dope tracks with Blest Theory and Idill. Idill got a new mic it sounds good you can check the tracks on myspace.com or Soundclick.  I haven’t  had time for many hip hop shows I’m going to The Open Room. People should go. I’m  going to doing comedy so if you want to come laugh at me come to NMSU tomorrow night 7-9:30 Check it out support the arts.

I have alot on my plate this semester and right now I’m writing Who’s Roberto it’s a comedy about the 80’s and y2k enough said. Either way I’ve been writing this script for years and I’m taking a small break. Since my other computer broke down this is all I can do besides write free handedly. I love to write movies all the time because I have so many awesome ideas. My imagination runs wild most of the time and I’m always having crazy dreams that make awesome ideas for movies.

So you’re wondering what’s new in the life of Dj Dislexican?

Just trying to manage my time and become ready for the shows I have coming up in March and April. There is also an Open Room going on this week at Corbett Center from 7-9:30 at Nmsu on Thursday 28th 2010. Any one is welcome to attend and we hope you come out it is a benefit for the survivors of Haiti. My prayers go to those people because life is hard and now for them it’s even harder. We in America and other countries have it made and are lucky and should help each other out no?

Life is cold in the world of sacrifice and the changes have been met
by low tides and high regards
Could you save millions by stopping your own life?
The way of the light is …
a dark path none too bright as I asked my creator
Why did you put us on this plight?
Am I alone in the world where pain is something beautiful
Yet thoroughly misunderstood
Could our communications throughout the stars really be
the end of our forgiveness?
Can you believe me if I told you the ones that made and mold you
never did behold you
Beyond the deep thought to save us all
I refuse to believe I could leave some behind
As human man told me to pay them no mind
I can’t live in this place with out knowing the divine
and the fine line to cross into another time
To get our families and our loves in signs?
Let yourself be aware things will happen and I will be the one to take your pain
This I did not choose but life itself all the same
I asked my creator Why must I bear the brunt for my brothers sins?
No answer was returned only this is where your journey begins
For alone the time its been to see a greater purpose of where I’ve been
Beyond that temptations grin
Could you hear the songs of thousands weeping
Knowing that you must help them while the world is sleeping
Am I to be destroyed along with the current ?
Or am I a handle that holds these things within ?
Ourselves are afraid of what no man can teach us
Lost in communication they’ve tried to reach us
So I may bear the burdens of a sinful past
The clarity and calamity of those who don’t last
To purify your sins with our lives
Our places never given our own taken away fro the greater good
a fate we never could accept
in the world they never left
Without us there is nothing
and in nothing
there is something
beyond us….

Vacation is the only the thing on my mind right now. I’m hanging just making movies organizing cd’s and waiting for the semester to end. This week is my off week so I’m chilling and making beats and recording mad tracks. Some how I need to fit home work and studying in all of this. I got a major math test and I need to get things ready for next semester.

Nowadays I seem to do more music and writing than homework and government stuff. I got a couple job interviews tomorrow and I’m trying to raise money to go out to Puerto Rico to make tons and tons of tracks and finish this album. Lately I’ve been still working on this movie and hanging with my friends from out of town got a couple of shows coming up.
